David Goodsell Dead
Early Resident of Portland Passed After Hour's Illness
David Goodsell, son of the late David Goodsell Sr., pioneer Portland attorney, died suddenly Thursday night at his home, 481 East Twenty-first street North, after an hour's sickness from an attack of acute indigestion.
He was born in Portland in 1876, growing to manhood here and receiving an elementary education in the local schools, later attending the University of California and receiving his degree. He followed the lumber and investment business.
Besides his widow, Linnie A., two sons, Gilbert D. and David F., and a brother, Gerald, living at 1189 East Oak street, survive him.
The funeral will be held from the Portland crematorium at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon.
