Nancy Roberta (Franford) Lefkowitz, age 77, of Bloomfield, beloved wife for 56 years of Herman Lefkowitz died peacefully at home Tuesday, September 5, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Abner and Beatrice (Bassett) Franford. She had lived most of her life in Bloomfield, where she was an active member of her community. Nancy was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. In addition to her husband Herman, Nancy leaves her daughter, Rachel Marcus and her husband Mitchell of Avon, CT, a son, David Lefkowitz and his wife Helene of West Hartford, CT, seven cherished grandchildren, Benjamin and Amanda Marcus, Zachary and Karina Marcus, Nathan Marcus, Adam Lefkowitz, and Matthew Lefkowitz, and a sister, Susan Sandler and her husband Robert. Funeral Services will be graveside on September 6th at 3:00 PM at the Hartford Mutual Society Memorial Park, 74 Wolcott Road, East Granby with Rabbi James Rosen officiating. Following interment, family will receive relatives and friends at the home of David and Helene with a service at 7:00 and again on Thursday receiving at 6 PM with a service at 7:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cut Out Cancer, C/O Ronit Shoham, 44 Ferncliff Drive, West Hartford, CT 06117. May her memory be a source of strength and a blessing.
