Bass, 50, who died at 10 p.m. Monday at Wabash General Hospital in Mount Carmel, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois, with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Claremont, Illinois. Mr. Bass, a resident of Albion, Illinois, worked in the maintenance department at Delux Industries Corporation, of Evansville, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Evansville. He and his wife, Carol, were married in Evansville March 25, 1989. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Chester Jay Bass Jr. of Gainesville, Florida; and Anthony Bass of Albany, Georgia; a stepson, Randy Dickerson of Albion, Illinois; daughters, Tonya Hayes and Sharon Davidson, both of Albany, Georgia; brothers, Barnett Bass Jr. of Vincennes, David Bass of Fort Branch, and John Bass of Mount Vernon, Indiana; sisters, Carrie Stroud of Evansville, Augusta Biggs and Rose Sanders, both of Vincennes, Daisy Walker of Cincinnati, and Ester Shaner of East Point, Florida; and three grandchildren.
