Bassett-Baxter Wedding at St. Peters

After their wedding ceremony last evening. They were attended

Miss Dorothy Baxter, daughter of Mrs. William H. Baxter of 39 Ware street, became the bride of Mr. Joseph Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bassett of this city at a ceremony performed last night at St. Peter’s rectory. The double ring service took place, and Rev. John Costello was the officiating clergyman.
The bride wore a white silk traveling suit with all white accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of pink tea roses. Miss Alice Baxter, a sister, was the bride’s only attendant. She also wore a traveling suit, pink in color, with blue accessories, and her corsage was of gardenias. Mr. Paul Bassett, brother of the bridegroom was the best man.
Following the ceremony there was a wedding reception at the home of the bride’s mother, where a buffet supper was served. Later in the evening Mr. and Mrs. Bassett left on a wedding trip by motor that will take them through the New England states. Upon their return they will make their home at 2 Davis terrace.
