(Dell) Bessette, Age 54, passed on at 2:15 a.m. Saturday at his home after a one month illness. He was born July 19, 1906 in Deer Creek, Wis. and lived in Appleton for the past 40 years. Mr. Bessette was a truck driver for 35 years and was employed by the Balliet Supply Co., for 21 years. Survivors are his widow, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Otto, Kimberly; Miss Audrey, at home; two sons, Glenn and Ronald, both of Appleton; three brothers, Henry, New London, Frank, Kimberly, Lester, Appleton; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Young, Shiocton, Mrs. Leo Ritchie, New London, Mrs. Peter Van Oudenhoven, Rt. 2, Menasha, Mrs. Andrew Jansen, Green Bay; 9 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church with interment in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday with rosary at 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
