Robert S. Bassett
SANDOWN ? Robert S. Bassett, 32, died Tuesday night in a Hampstead nursing home after a long illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Sandown.
Members of the family include his father, Raymond K. Bassett of Sandown; 11 brothers, Charles Bassett of North Hampton, Raymond S. Bassett, David Bassett and Kenneth Bassett, all of Sandown, Norman Bassett of Fremont, Donald Bassett, Richard Bassett and Carroll Bassett, all of Northwood, Wendell Bassett of Epsom, William Bassett of Fairport, N.Y., and Pfc. Irving Bassett, U.S. Army in Germany; four sisters, Mrs. Francis Marlow of Putney, Vt., Miss Eleanor I. Bassett of Sandown, Mrs. Richard Sargent of Newport, R.I., Mrs. Warren Phillips of Lancaster, nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at the Sandown Methodist Church. Burial will be in Village Cemetery, Sandown.
Friends may call at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping, today from 7-9 p.m.
