- Mrs. Eveline Flowers Of Neaer Advance Dies

Advance, Nov. 10. ? Mrs. Eveline Flowers, 89 years old, wife of the alte Larry Flowers, and resident of this community for over 70 years, died at 6:30 o?clock Wednesday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Tom Redman, at Messler.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o?clock Friday afternoon at the Fairview General Baptist Church with Rev. Claude Fowler in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body was taken to the daughter?s home this afternoon from the Morgan Funeral Home, to remain until time for the services.
Besides the daughter, Mrs. Flowers is survived by a son, Isaac Flowers of Messler; a half-brother, Lute Bass of Cap Girardeau; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grand-children. Three sons preceded her in death.
Born Jan. 2, 1860, in Illinois, Mrs.Flowers moved to Messler over 70 years ago. Mr. Flowers died nine years ago.
