Arthur W. Bessette
ARTHUR W. BESSETTE, 72, of Lincoln Avenue, a former custodian, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket.
Born in Central Falls, a son of the late Hormidas J. and Mable (Gereoux) Bessette, he had lived most of his life in Providence.
He was employed by Leonard Morse Hospital, Natick, Mass., as a custodian for many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He leaves two brothers, Joseph Bessette of Dayville, Conn., and Louis J. Bessette of Pawtucket, and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marie Babicz, Loretta Morrone, Diane Bearl, Rita Cearly, Beatrice Pernorio, and Teresa and Armond Bessette.
The funeral and burial will be private.
