Mrs. Dorilla (Lapointe) Bessett, 69, of 11 School St., widow of William Bessett, died in Holyoke Hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of this city and was a member of the Ladies? Catholic Benevolent. Surviving are three sons, Thaddeus, William and Maurice, all of Holyoke; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Gauthier, of South Hadley, Mrs. Lorraine Huber and Mrs. Leona Leveille, both of this city; 16 grandchildren, and great-grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Rosilda Parenteau and Miss Rose Alma Lapointe, both of Holyoke; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at the Messier-Lacombe funeral home Monday at 8.30 with a solemn requiem high mass at 9 in Perpetual Help Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
