- 3B36221. Deacon Joel Bassett, son of Enoch and Esther (Bristall) Bassett, was born about 1783 probably in Newtown, Connecticut. He died 5 Sep 1840, aged 57 years. He married Elizabeth Warner, daughter of Eliphaz and Mercy (Drinkwater) Warner,. She was born about 1783. She died 9 Apr 1845, aged 63 years. [See Note for Elizabeth.] They are both buried in the old cemetery in Salem, Washington County, New York. Dates for them are from the Andrew Warner Genealogy.
