Clara M. Bassett
WESTPORT ? Clara M. Bassett of Westport, wife of the late Leroy Bassett, died today in Norwalk Hospital.
Mrs. Bassett was born in Westport, daughter of the late Henry and Anna Guyaz, and had been a lifelong town resident.
Mrs. Bassett was a member of the Westport Senior Citizens and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include a son, Roger Bassett of Westport, two grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Kritsch, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Willowbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Home, 210 Post Road E.
The family requests the flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service, 50 Jesup Road, Westport 06880.
