Edward Bessette
Edward Bessette, 61, of 35 Oswego St., died Friday evening at Springfield Hospital of a heart attack. He was born in New Bedford, son of the late Augustus and Julia Bessette, and had resided in this city for 35 years. He was employed at Forbes and Wallace for 27 years and was a member of American Legion Post No. 21. He was a communicant of St. Michael’s Cathedral. He leaves his wife, Sally (Britton) Bessette of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Berlin Johnson of New Bedford and Mrs. Hattie Fabreau of West Springfield; one brother, George Bessette, of New Bedford. The funeral will be in charge of George St. Pierre and Son funeral home.
