Miss Lebo Married Sunday In Home Wedding to Mr. Bass
The wedding of Miss Carolyn Lebo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Getty Lebo, and Barney Bass, son of Mrs. Jennie Bass, took place Sunday, July 27 at 7 o’clock in the evening in the garden of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Patshnic, the bride’s uncle and aunt, at 110 Westromeland. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Nathan Kollin.
The bride wore a wedding gown of ivory satin, made with sheer yoke with crystal and seed pearl design, long waistline, long fitted sleeves ending in points over the hands and bouffant skirt falling into a long train. Her fingertip veil of French illusion was arranged from a Juliet cap of imported lace outlined with seed pearls, and she carried a prayer book and orchid.
Mrs. Irwin Cohen was the bride’s matron of honor and only attendant. She wore a gown of aqua mousseline de soie, made with a small cape neckline, long waist line, and four-tiered skirt. She carried a bouquet of American beauty roses, and wore a matching bandeau of roses in her hair. The flower girl, Miss Rosanne Shear, wore an identical and carried the same flowers.
Harry Bass, the bridegroom’s brother, was best man. Groomsmen were Milton Bass, Lincold Stein, Irvin Choen and Lee Sisisky.
A reception followed immediately after the ceremony for the bridal party and immediate families, after which the couple left for a wedding trip to Florida.
