Mrs. Ruea Bassett to Be Buried on Sunday
“Death by drinking poison,” was the inquest verdict of Justice A.C. Flory following an inquest held over the body of Mrs. Ruea Bassett, 19, who died at 6:30 o’clock Friday night at her home 1759 Grafton street. Mrs. Bassett was the wife of E.A. Bassett.
Funeral services will be held at the Lamar & Smith Chapel at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in the Wheatland Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Sharp of Dallas; five sisters, Mrs. Willie Newberry, Misses Pearl, Lydia and Johnnie Lee Sharp, all of Dallas, and Mrs. Albert Hobby of Graford.
