  Notes	Springfield Union, October 17, 1983 Albertina M. Bessette HARDWICK – Albertina M. (Peltier) Bessette, 75, of 12 Grove St., 16-year president of the Gilbertville American Legion Auxiliary, died Saturday in Holden District Hospital, Holden. She was a lifelong resident of this town. She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Church, past president of the Catholic Women’s Council, and a member of Gilbertville Golden Agers. She leaves a son, Ernest G.; two daughter, Phyllis Hanson and Doris Bessette, two sisters, Victoria Beauregard and Irene Lavigne, all of Hardwick; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday morning at Charbonneau Funeral Home and in the church, with burial in the parish cemetery.
