  Notes	The Gainesville Sun Florida Saturday, May 15, 2004 Nancy Carter Bass Nancy Carter Bass of Live Oak died Wednesday at her home after an extended illness. She was 80. Mrs. Bass was born in Meriden, Connecticut, and moved to Live Oak in 1947. She was a retired clerk. She was a supporter of Suwannee High School athletics, and a member of Future Farmers of America, Senior Citizens of Live Oak, Suwannee High School Friends of the Theater, Live Oak Garden Club and Live Oak Women's Club.She was also a member of First Advent Christian Church in Live Oak.She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis A. Bass.Survivors include a daughter, Betsy Byrd of Live Oak; sons Carter Bass and Stevan Bass, both of Live Oak; six grandchildren; and four grandchildren.Arrangements by Daniels Funeral Home in Live Oak.
