Mrs. Etta Bassett Cuddington - 1281 North 28th St. passed away Wednesday September 6, 1972. Mrs. Cuddington was born September 15, 1887 in Allegan County and had been a resident here since 1918. She was a member of the North Presbyterian Church. She was married to Alfred Bassett who passed away in 1945 and was later married to Fred Cuddington who passed away in 1966. Surviving are: one son and 2 daughters, John Bassett, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Curtis, Mrs. Everett (Elizabeth) Curtis; one stepson, Armon Cuddington all of Kalamazoo; 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Glen (Ruby) Brewer of Delton; several nieces and newphews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Hassing and a grandson, James Hassing and a sister, Belle Tracy. Memorial services will be held Satruday morning at 11 o'clock, at the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, Rev. Robert Rasmussen officiating. Interment in Millgorve Cemetery, Allegan. Friends may call at the chapel.
