Pascal Bessette
Pascal Bessette, well-known resident of Cohoes and a wholesale tobacconist in that city for the last 36 years, died this morning at the residence, 90 Myrtle Street, Cohoes, after a three weeks’ illness. Mr. Bessette was borjn in Cohoes and had lived there all his life. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church and was a member of the Legion of the Sacred Heart. Survivors include his wife, who was formerly Miss Josephine LaJoie; five daughters, Misses Florine Eugenie and Alice Bessette, Mrs. Clarence Venderwerken, all of Cohoes, and Mrs. Henry Asbury of Green Island, and a son, Milfred Bessette of Cohoes. The funeral will be held Monday morning from the residence, and later from the Sacred Heart Church, where a requiem mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
