Graveside services will be held at 2P.M., Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Forsyth City Cemetery. Reverend Franklin Etheridge will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. -Mr. Bass was born in Troup County. He was the son of the late Charlie Frank and Vallie Christine Hattaway Bass. His sister, Sidney Bass Counts and his brother, Charlie Oklen Bass preceded him in death. He was retired from Atlanta Newspaper. -Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Rachel Pippin Bass, Forsyth; children, David (Dana) Bass, Warner Robins, Phyllis (Ken) Dorsett, Forsyth; grandchildren, Sheree (Luis) Daniel, Jim Dorsett, Leslie Dorsett, Kevin Bass, Tiffani Bass; nephews, Ronnie and Ricky Johnson. -In lieu of flowers donations may be made to donors favorite church building fund or to Hospice of Central Georgia, 3780 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon, GA 3120. -Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
