Charles L. Bass
BASS -- Charles L. Bass Sr., 75, died at his home, 711 Hyde Park, at 1:30 PM Sunday. Mr. Bass has been a resident of Houston 14 years. He was a member of the Golden Circle of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and the Texas Bar association. He had practiced law in Houston for some time. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, two sons, Charles L. Bass Jr. of Tuleta and Louis T. Bass of Ogden, Utah and a sister Mrs. C. E. Gaddis of Wetumpka, Ala. The body was sent to San Antonio at 9:30 am Monday on the Southern Pacific for burial. Services will be held at the Porter Loring funeral home Tuesday morning. Geo. H. Lewis & Co. directing in Houston.

BASS-- Charles L. Bass, Sr. age 75 years of Houston, Texas died in this city Sunday afternoon. He is survived by his widow, Mrs C. L. Bass, Sr., sons Charles L. Bass, Jr. and Louis T. Bass; sister Mrs C. E. Gaddis. Services will be from Porter Loring Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Reverend Everett Jones officiating with interment in City Cemetery No. 4.
