Avis Bass, December 18, 2019
Avis H. Bass was born Aug 28, 1916 in Andalusia, AL. After High School she married Lewis Bass and moved to Mobile, AL. She had one child, Linda Bass Lakatos. Avis worked at Brookley AFB. until they closed. In 1964 she moved to San Antoinio, TX to work at Kelly AFB. She lived there until Jan 2000. At that time she moved to Pensacola, FL to be near her Daughter, Linda. She had three Grand Children, 11 Great Grand Children, and 3 Great Great Grand Children.
Avis had a long and very interesting life. After her retirement in 1978, she was able to travel for 10 years to many foreign countries and all areas of the US.
A memorial service will be at 3PM on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Lillian
