Bass Family Reunion Is Held In Raleigh
Spring Hope, June 12. ? The children of the late Isaac Bass and Lou Abernathy Bass, of Nash County held their annual family reunion Sunday at Pullen Park, in Raleigh.
There are five children of this union living. They are Mrs. B.F. Holland, of Middlesex; Mrs. G.L. Stone of Sanford; J.R. Bass, W.D. Bass and S.P. Bass, of Nashville, Route 2. There are thirty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren living.
The dinner was served picnic style. The table was filled with everything delicisou to eat and cold drinks were served. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Holland, Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Holland, of Middlesex; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Holland, of Maxton; Mrs. G.L. Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Stone, Betty Anne Stone, Alton and Melton Stone, of Sanford; Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Bass, Leona and Ralph Bass, Opie Bass, Opie Bass, Jr. of Momeyer; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brantley and Bobby Brantley of Wake Forest; Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Bass, Idalene, Willie, Nellie, Dennis Jr., and Jean Bass, Mr. and Mrs. E.V. Alford, of Spring Hope, Rt. 1; Miss Lucille Bass of Raleigh; Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Bass, Harold, Larry, Ramona and Paul Bass, Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Bass and Roddy Bass of Momeyer; Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Bass of Nashville; Mrs Minnie Bass, Isaac, S.W. Bass, Basil Jackson, Nashville, Route 2; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stanell of Raleigh.
