      From Black Creek Bass book:

He was living in Dobbs Co. and bought land from John Barnes in 1763. He was still in Dobbs as late as 1769 when he is listed on a tax roll. There was a Wright Bass who was a Private in Augustine Spain?s Co. of the 2nd Regt. of the NC Militia during the Revolution. Wright moved to the Georgetown District of South Carolina and received by will his Uncle Moses Bass?s plantation of 444 acres. Wright is listed as a Sergeant in the South Carolina Militia during the Revolution. Wright had at least one son that we know of, Right and probably another, Robert. Wright died before 1795 in S. C.
