  Notes	Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Thursday, October 10, 1912 Funerals Azariah Bass The funeral of Azariah Bass, who died at his home in Bowers Hill, Norfolk county, on last Monday following a brief illness, was held at his late residence yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o?clock and was largely attended by friends. The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Clark, pastor of the Bowers Hill Methodist church, after which the remains were removed to the family burial plot for interment. Fourteen nephews of the deceased acted as pall bearers. They were as follows: Edgar Bass, James Bass, Winfred Bass, Ashton Bass, Alex Bass, Randolph White, Louis White, James Bass, Thomas Bass, George Bass, Ernest White and Robert Bass.
