  Notes	Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Florida, Friday, 18 November 1977 Charlotte County Joe L. Bass Joe L. Bass, 82, Route 2, Burnt Store Road, Punta Gorda, died Thursday at his home. A native of Clinton, N.C., he came to Charlotte County from Mort Meade in 1946. He was a member of the Old Elim Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Meade. He was an employe of the Charlotte County Road and Bridge Department for many years. He laves a son, Junius Bass of Punta Gorda; a daughter, Mrs. Lorene Singleton of punta Gorda; two sisters, Vada Radford and Arzie Bohannon, both of Fort Meade; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Fort Meade; at the Old Elim Primitive Baptist Church, with Elder John C. Keatin and Elder Robet Ming officiating. Burial will be in Old Elim Cemetery. Friends may call at the Moody Funeral Home in Fort Meade.
