      Wanda Gail (Bass) Litzsinger
      February 14, 1937 ? April 10, 2022

Wanda Gail Bass Litzsinger, daughter of George Washington and Cora Gertrude (Hanks) Ipock was born on February 16, 1937 in Kansas City, MO and passed away on April 10, 2022 at the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 26 days.
Gail was raised in the Dixon, MO area and even though times were hard, she told many tales of having had a happy childhood living on and working alongside her sisters and parents on their family farm along Duncan Creek. During her early school days, she attended the local one-room Mungy Schoolhouse where she made many happy memories and some very good friendships. Gail took her early experiences in working hard for what you have and holding close to family bonds throughout her life and passed those values on to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gail was united in marriage to Chester Lee Bass on May 12, 1954 and to this union 5 children were born. The family lived in different locations for Chester?s work until they settled in Missouri. Chester and Gail purchased a fixer-upper house on Hwy 28 near Dixon and raised farm animals. In 1973, they purchased a farm in the Mtn. Grove area. Chester worked nights at Fort Leonard Wood and they worked the farm together. She enjoyed all things farming related, listening each weekday morning to Tradio classified ads on a local radio station, reading and tending to her flower beds. She enjoyed hosting family get-togethers at her place where she would welcome anyone who wanted to come. She would tell us if asked about inviting someone she hadn?t met before, ?They are very welcome to come, the more the merrier!?. Gail was a faithful attendee of her church, East Highway 178 Church of Christ in Mtn. Home, AR, which was such an important and fulfilling part of her life. Her church family provided much support and friendship to Gail over the years.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, George and Cora Ipock; an infant son, Curtis Neal; first husband, Chester Bass; second husband, Ralph Litzsinger and a sister, Georgia June Alexander. She is survived by her children, Deana Bass, Irma Bell (Leon), Lee Bass (Verna) and Joseph Bass (Patty); two step-daughters, Sally Rubin and Sue Schoeninger; a step-son, Ralph ?Bud? Litzsinger; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as other friends and family who will keep her close in their hearts.
