Felix Bass?s Will
In the Name of God Amen, I Felix Bass of the County of Sampson and State of North Carolina being of prefect sound mind and memory do make and ordain this as my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Viz First I desire that all my just debts may be paid Item I give unto my Son Henderson Bass One hundred and ten acres of Lands to be run of for him to begin at Line below Daniel McLumbs Place a corner free and run that line till he gets his complement likewise one year olde colt and one ewe and lamb one feather Bed one Heifer. Item I give unto my daughter Rebecca Bass one dollar Item I give unto my son Craven Bass one Dollar Item The Residue of my Estate both Land and Personal Property I lend and not give unto my wife Kiddy Bass during her natural live or widowhood and to my two children Hillory Bass and Roxy Bass & to their heirs forever.
Likewise I nominate constitute and approve Abraham Naylor as Sole Executor to this my last Will and Testament hereby revokinhg all others. In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my my Seal this twenty second day of April One Thousand Eight hundred and Thirty five.
