  Notes	Will of William Bass, In the name of God Amen I, William Bass of the county of Sampson in the state of North Carolina being in perfect health and of sound mind and memory and knowing that it is once appointed for all men to die do make and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit: It is my will that all my just debts be discharged and satisfied. Item. I lend and not give to my beloved wife Cela, the whole of my property during her naterual life or widowhood wxcepting a few things hereafter mentioned. Item. I give unto my beloved son Able Bass the Manor plantation where I now live supposed to be two hundred acres. Likewise at his mothers deceased to inherit the whole of her property. Item. I give unto my beloved daughter Cela, one feather bed and furniture, one cow and calf. Item. I give unto me beloved daughter Sophia one feather bed and furniture and one cow and calf. Item. I give unto my beloved daughter Drucilla one feather bed and furniture and one cow and calf. Likewise it is my will and desire my mare should be sold at public sale to the highest bidder. They money arising to be appropriated to the maintenance of the orphan children. Lastly. I conclude my sons Felix and Andrew Bass Executors to this may last will and testament hereby revoking disxxxxxx and making void all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I, the aforesaid William Bass have unto set my hand and Seal This 19th day of Aprl 1802. Sealed and Declared by the Testator to be his last will and testament in precense of us.
