  Notes	The Gainesville Sun, Florida, Friday, 2 February 2001 Richard Franklin Bass SPARR - Richard Franklin Bass of Sparr died Tuesday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville. He was 62. A native of West Virginia, Mr. Bass moved to Sparr two years ago. He served in the U.S. Navy for 27 years. He was a well driller in West Virginia. Survivors include his wife, Marlene Bass of Sparr; his former wife, Carol Bass of Sparr; two daughters, Britney Michelle Bass of Borderland, W.Va., and Susan C. Stevenson of Jasper, Ala.; four sons, Zachery Ryan Bass and Kevin Bass, both of Borderland, W.Va., Richard Wayne Bass of Sparr and James Neil Bass of Melbourne; two brothers, Thomas Henry Bass of Melbourne and Mitchell Hoyt Bass of Port St. John; and a grandchild, Gary Stevenson III of Jasper, Ala.
