  Notes	The Valley Times News Tuesday, May 1, 2001 Mrs. Bass Valley - Mrs. Ida Belle Pitts Bass, 92, of Valley died Monday, April 30, 2001. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 2 at 2 p.m. at Carrville Church of Christ in Tallassee, Alabama, with the Reverends Harry Cobb and B.E. Riggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Carrville Cemetery. Mrs. Bass is survived by her daughter, Clara (Joe) Young of Valley; her son, Wilbur (Sue) Bass of Auburn, Alabama; four grandchildren, Renee (Tony) Segrest, Brent (Sharon) Bass and Chris (Lisa) Young, all of Auburn, and Bill Young of Dallas, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Segrest, Taylor Bass, Derrick Bass, and Benjamin Young, all of Auburn, and Garrett and Adam Young, both of Valley; and a dedicated friend, Monica Bonner. Mrs. Bass was born August 3, 1908 in Elmore County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Clay Bass, her grandson, Bryant Bass, and her husband of 58 years, Howard Bass. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 1 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Jeffcoat Funeral Home in Tallassee. Jeffcoat Funeral Home in Tallassee is handling arrangements
