Earl was born May 1, 1931, at home in Peoria Heights, Ill., to James and Cora (Bassett) Pierce. He married Jacque Rogers on July 4, 1951, in Peoria, Ill. Surviving are his wife, Jacque Pierce of Chillicothe, Ill.; daughter, Rebecca Pierce of Bartonville, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Last rites were accorded. No additional services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Ark in Lacon, Ill., or P.A.W.S. in Peoria, Ill. Schmidt-Haller Burial and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
