Erskine W. Bass
Stantonsburg - Erskine W. Bass, 74, died Wednesday, September 7, 2005. He had served in the Army and retired from sales at Kenly Ford. Funeral, Friday, 6:00 p.m., First Baptist Church, Stantonsburg, with visitation to follow. A committal service, Saturday, 11:00 a.m., Stantonsburg Cemetery. Surviving is his wife, Ann Webb Bass; daughter, Kim Boone (Keith) of Fayetteville; son, Woody Bass (Meredyth) of Cary; five grandchildren; sister, Eulah Neal of Goldsboro. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Boone. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, PO Box 57, Stantonsburg, North Carolina 27883.
