Phyllis S. Bridgers
Phyllis Sharon Bass Bridgers, 61, of Mount Olive, died Thursday, January 21 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Graveside services were held Monday, January 25 at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mrs. Bridgers was born in Wayne County on June 3, 1948 to the late Samuel Bass and Myrtle Grice Bass.
She is survived by three children, Karen Johnson of Smithfield, Diane Morris of Pikeville and John Carter and wife, Stefanie of Troutman, NC; one brother, Sam Bass and wife, Donna of Morrisville, NC; one sister, Terry Atkinson of Goldsboro; and five grandchildren.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
