Samples, Hampton; three sons, Walter Woody, South Boston, Charles Woody, South Hill, John Emmit Woody, Richmond; four sisters, Alma Pulliam, Roxboro, Frances Hawkins, Richmond, Rebecca Vernon and Georgia Bass, Milton, North Carolina; one brother Hal Bass, South Boston; nine grandchildren. Funeral Friday afternoon at 2:00 o?clock at Black Walnut Baptist Church with burial in church cemetery. Remains resting at Brooks Funeral Home, South Boston.
