  Notes	Columbia Herald Tennessee Friday, March 10, 1899 Mrs. G.W. Bass Mrs. G.W. Bass, wife of Dr. Bass, died Wednesday at her home at Jameson. She was taken sick only a few hours before her death, and her sudden demise was a sad shock to her many friends. The remains were taken to Lebanon, her old home, yesterday morning, where the funeral services and interment took place. Deceased was a kind-hearted, Christian woman, and gained the love of everyone with whom her life came in contact. The God whom she served so faithfully on earth has carried her spirit home to dwell forever with Him in perfect peace and happiness. A husband and three children are left to mourn her most untimely departure.
