Petition for sale of land
The heirs of John Bassett deceased are hereby notified that at the Term of the Court of Common Pleas within and for the county of Summit aforesaid, the Petitioner filed her petition for the sale of the Real estate of the said John Bassett deceased, to pay debts, to wit, about five acres and a half lf land situate in the township of Hudson in the county of Summit and State of Ohio, in Lot number forty-five, being the homestead of the said John Bassett, decased, at the time of his death ? and that on the 13th day of June A.D. 1848, the petitioner filed her amended petition praying for the sale of said land, and the assignement of Dower to her the said Louisa Bassett.
In said petition it is set forth that Minerva Ramsey, William Ramsey her husband, Maria Root and Daniel Root her husband, Corintha Bassett, Melissa Oliver and Andrew W. Oliver her husband, Almira Bassett, Sarah Brown and Oliver O. Brown her husband, John Chapman, Matthew Chapman, Harriet Buel and David Buel her husband, Mary Chapman, Ellen Chapman, John Chapman, Jr., Henry Chapman, Solomon Brown, Lemuel Brown, and Mary Brown are heirs at law of the said John Bassett, and whereas there may be other heirs of the said John Bassett deceased, who ahd whose places of residence are unknown to the Petitioner, they, if any such there are, are also hereby notified of the pendency of the Petition original and amended aforesaid, and that the name will be for hearing at the July Term, A.D. 1848.
