Bella Vista, AR, 1944 ? 2019
Carolyn Bassett, 74, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Circle of Life in Bentonville. She was born June 10, 1944 to Paul and Eva (Easely) Bailey in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
She married Rex Bassett on December 25, 1961 in Keenes, Illinois. In 1974 they moved from Illinois to Lookout, Arkansas, where they owned and operated Lookout Grocery for 21 years. She later worked for Walmart for 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Rex Bassett. Carolyn is survived by one son, Rick Bassett of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two daughters, Cindy Brown and husband, Rick of Cave Springs, Arkansas, Cheryl Renner and husband, Dave of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Hoby Brown and wife, Amanda, Haley Skorupski and husband Jeremy, Beau Brown; and six great-grandchildren, Braylen, Ashlyn, Kinleigh, Abby, Adeleigh and Zoey; brother, Bill Green and wife, Cheryl of Hindsville, Arkansas.
Open House for family and friends will be from 12?5 p.m., January 26th at 1 Addison Lane, Bella Vista, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Circle of Life Hospice.
