Funeral at Eversonville
The funeral of Mrs. William D. Bassett, formerly Vada V. Tharp, of Webster Groves, Missouri took place yesterday from the home of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Tharp at Eversonville, Mo.
Her death occurred at Denver, Colorado, February 18th where she had been for the past several months under the care of specialists.
She is survived by her husband, W.D. Bassett, superintendent of pensions, Frisco Railroad, St. Louis, MO.; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. J.H. Tharp her brothers, Lloyd S. and William L. of Meadville, Mo., Herbert E. of Chillicothe, Mo., Harvey P. of Eversonville, Mo., and her sisters, Mrs. John Waydelich of Wheeling, Mo., and Mrs. Edgar Powell of Chula, Mo., Mrs. Elbert Salle of Versonville, Mo.
The funeral services were conducted at Eversonville Baptist church by Mr. Gilbert E. McClure and Elder of the Webster Groves Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Bassett was a faithful member Mrs. R.S. Grable and Mr. George L. Ball, members of the same church accompanied Mr. McClure. Interment was at Parson Creek cemetery.
