Miss Bassett, Finch Alumna, Becomes Bride
She is Married to Hugh L. Corroon; Harvard Law Graduate

Miss Theodora Scott Bassett, daughter of Mrs. DeWitt Sage of Glyndon, Maryland and Theodore S. Bassett of New York, was married here yesterday afternoon to Hugh Larkin Corroon. He is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Francis Corroon of New York.
The Reverend James D. Murphy performed the ceremony in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Thomas More. A reception was held at the Georgian Suite, 1A East 77th Street.
The bride wore a gown of antique ivory satin made with the cowl neck, long sleeves and a bell skirt ending in a cathedral train. Her tulle veil was attached to a scalloped crown of matching fabric, and she carried a bouquet of camellias, lilies of the valley and ivy.
Mrs. Leonard Bernheim was matron of honor and the Misses Danae Voltos, Sylda Haas, Martha Jo Burton, Hilary Hemingway, Ingrid Russell and Ellen Corroon, niece of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Richard Corroon was his brother's best man.
The bride, an alumna of Finch College, attended Lady Eden's School in London, the Fritham House School in Lyndurst, Hampshire, England, and the Montesano School in Gstaad, Switzerland.
The bridegroom graduated from the Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut; Princeton University, where he was a member of Cottage Club, and the Harvard Law School.
He belongs to the Princeton Club of New York and the Wilmington Country Club.
