Jane Jae (Siebenthal) Bassett
Janet Jae (Siebenthal) Bassett of Lindon, UT, lost her battle with Pancreatic cancer in the early morning hours of April 27, 2013, at the age of 48.
Janet was born October 18, 1964, in San Diego, CA, to Stanley Jay and Marjorie (Bickmore) Siebenthal. She lived in La Mesa until adulthood. On November 8, 1983, she married Ronald Keith Bassett in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Together they have six children.
Janet was a beloved wife and mother who spent her life at home raising her children. She enjoyed having a large family and loved being a grandma. She served in many church callings and had a strong testimony of the Gospel. She also enjoyed gardening, singing in church choirs, and watching old musicals.
Janet is survived by her husband, Ron; and their children: (daughters) Brittany (Matthew) Frary and Tiffany (James) Fennikoh; (sons) Brandon, Preston, Ethan, and Devin Bassett; their three grandchildren, Kinleigh, James, and Sawyer; and her siblings Anthony (Tony), Sarah, and Kenyon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Stan and Marjorie Siebenthal.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lindon Stake Center, 1000 East 100 North, Lindon. Family and friends may attend a viewing Wednesday evening, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery.
