Possible other marriages include (2) Marie Daniel in 1828. He married (3) Catherine Foisy. Family records in possession of Bassett family members in Wisconsin mention a close relationship with Brother Andre Bassett of Canada, but this may actually be through the second wife, Catherine Foisy. Isaac Bessette married Clothilde Foisy and had Andre Bassett. Possibly Catherine and Clothilde are sisters. From Tanquay and Jette, we find the following marriage: Jean Marie Bessette, son of Francois Bessette and Charlotte Desroches, married Marie Gelineau on 27 Nov 1821 in Chambly, Quebec.
