Enola B. Wiley
Enola B. Wiley of Heritage Towers Apartments, Doylestown, died at her residence Monday. She was 82. She was the wife of George Wiley.
Born in Upper Makefield Township, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Maggie Poole Bassett. She was a Buckingham Township resident for 59 years and had been a resident of Doylestown since March.
Mrs. Wiley was a graduate of the Taylor Business School of Philadelphia and she and her husband operated the George Wiley and Son Paving Company, retiring in 1972.
Mrs. Wiley was a member of the Doylestown Presbyterian Church for more than fifty years and was active in organizations within the church. She was a member of the Buckingham's Women's Club and a volunteer at the Doylestown Hospital. She was also a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, G. Thomas Wiley of Doylestown; two daughters, Jane E. Smith of Acton, Massachusetts; and Shirley A. McClure of Phoenix, Arizona; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Winfield Bassett of Yardley and Raymond F. Bassett of Newtown.
Memorial services will be conducted at the Doylestown Presbyterian Church on Thursday at 2 p.m.
