Franklin W. ?Frank? Bassett, 68
Korean War veteran; owner; liked shellfishing, yard sales
DENNISPORT ? Franklin W. ?Frank? Bassett, 68, of Dennisport, died Saturday at Cape Cod Hospital.
Mr. Bassett was born in Hyannis and raised in Dennisport. He attended Yarmouth High School and served in the Army in Korea. He was the former owner and operator of Sunnybrook Farms convenience stove and the Town House Market in Yarmouth for 25 years. Mr. Bassett also operated vending machine routes up until the time of his death.
He enjoyed athletics, shellfishing, yard sales and his cat, ?Little Girl.?
Surviving are three brothers, Lenny Bassett of Dennisport, Bobby Bassett of Yarmouth and Samuel Bassett of West Barnstable; two sisters, Ruth Pina of Hyannis and Gloria Barabe of Kingston.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. June 213 at Cummaquid Cemetery in Barnstable.
