Clay Bass Sr.
Roxboro - Clay “Baldy” Bass, 63, of Route 1, Hurdle Mills, died Wednesday morning in Duke Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was a native of Person County.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in New St. James Baptist Church by the Reverend G.C. Ragland. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are a son, Clay Bass Jr. of Oxford, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Cameron of the home.
The family will receive visitors from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Cunningham & Nelson Funeral Home.
