  Notes	Albany Times Union Thursday, December 31, 1942 Solomon Bass Solomon Bass, 70, former Albany delicatessen proprietor for 15 years, died yesterday at the Foorisine Hospital, Bronx, after a short illness. Coming here from Russia 27 years ago, Mr. Bass had lived in the Bronx for the last two-and-one-half years. He retired 10 years ago. He is survived by a son, Jack Bass, of Albany; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Pink, Butler, New Jersey, and Miss Catherine Bass, Tucson, Arizona; two brothers, Barney Bass, New York City, and Leon Bass Malmed, Albany, and a sister, Mrs. Polly Cohen, New York City. The funeral services will be conducted at the Silberg Memorial Chapel, 864 Madison Avenue, on a date as yet unannounced.
