Mr. Bassett?s funeral and burial took place Sunday at Summitville. He was a son of the late John P. and Adaline B. Bassett. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura E. Stanley Bassett; two sisters, Mrs. Emma B. Hughes and Mrs. Hallie B. Dickey, both of Scott county, and eight brothers, Luke D. Bassett, Lexington; James T. and Carl S. Bassett, both of Fayette county; William B., Palmer and Clarence Bassett, all of Owen county, and Ernest B. and Buell Bassett, both of Scott county.
