Charles H. Bassett
LINCOLNTON - Charles Henry Bassett, 40, 216 Mauney Drive, died June 24, 2000,
at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Hardinsburg, Ky., son of the late Benny and Rita Peak
Bassett.
Survivors: Wife, Deborah Bassett; son, Charles David Bassett, Lincolnto
stepdaughter; Beth Christopher, Cherryville; brother Leslie Bassett, Maiden;
sisters, Joyce Stacey, Lincolnton, Diane Tate, Westport, Ky., Rita Goatley,
Cloverport, Ky., Rose Keith, Elizabethtown, Ky.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Warlick Funeral Home, Rev. Phil Goins.
Burial: Grayhampton Cemetery, Radcliff, Ky.
Visitation: One hour before service, funeral home.

Mr. Charles Henry Bassett
LINCOLNTON - Mr. Charles Henry Bassett, 40 of 216 Mauney Dr., Lincolnton, died
Saturday, June 24, 2000 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bassett was born on
December 24, 1959 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Benny and Rita Peak Bassett. Mr. Bassett is survived by his wife,
Deborah Bassett of Lincolnton; one son Charles David Bassett of Lincolnton;
one step-daughter, Beth Christopher of Cherryville; one brother, Leslie
Bassett of Maiden; four sisters, Joyce Stacey of Lincolnton, Diane Tate of
Westport, KY, Rita Goatley of Cloreport, KY, Rose Keith of Elizabethtown, KY.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Phil Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Grayhampton Cemetery in
Radcliff, Kentucky. The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior
to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
