Henry F. Tomford
Anton Henry Fredrick Tomford was born in Germany near Hanover, November 4, 1862. He came to this country with his parents at about the age of two years. He was confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran church in Glencoe, Ill., April 9, 1876.
On June 21, 1903, he married Miss Nellie Bassett. Three children were born unto this union, two dying in infancy, and a son 12 years of age passed away the 13th of last August. He leaves a widow and an adopted daughter, and other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon, Rev. J. S. Hamilton officiating, and interment took place at Maple Hill.
