- In Memory of Raymond Leslie Bassett
March 12, 1921 - February 6, 2012
Raymond Leslie Bassett, a longtime resident of Des Moines, WA. passed away peacefully at age 90 on February 6, 2012. Raymong is survived by: Sons, David (Sharon) Bassett, Jerry (Susan) Bassett, Tom Bassett and Daughter: Margie Gunter. Also Granddaughters; Rhonda Wright, Shauna Bassett, Becky Swanlund, Nicky Naiman, Amy Gunter, Janae (Shawn) Robinson, Megan (Jon) Byrum as well as Grandsons: Aaron Bassett, Chris and Steve (Aimee) Gunter. Raymond was also survived by five great-grandaughters and six great-grandsons.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11:30 AM Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 SE 240th St., Kent, WA. 98042. Please share your memories of Raymond by signing the online guestbook.

Alma O. Bassett
Alma was born August 1, 1924 in Burien, WA; passed away February 14, 2009 at the age of 84. She was the loving wife of Raymond Bassett for 66 years; mother of David (Sharon) Bassett, Jerry (Susan) Bassett, Tom Bassett, and Margie (Bob) Gunter; grandmother of Janae (Shawn), Megan (Jon), Rhonda (Matt), Becky (Randy), Shauna, Nicky (Jesse), Aaron, Chris, Steve (Aimee) and Amy; great-grandmother of Hannah, Bradley, Natalie, Carly, Drake, Olivia, Grayden, Lucy, Ethan, Conner and Shane. Viewing will be Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Edline-Yahn and Covington Funeral Chapel, Kent, WA.
