Miss Bass was formerly of Topeka, and from one of the leading families of the city and state. She is highly cultured, industrious and painstaking. Her father, the late Mr. Albert Bass was a Mason of high degree and one of the leading members of St. John A.M.E. Church. This pair has the congratulations of The Topeka Plaindealer and a host of friends in Shawnee County.
      Mr. Crews is one of the leading men of his race, and is grand master of the Missouri Grand Lodge, A.F & A.M., and is also the editor and owner of The Kansas City Sun. Mr. and Mrs. Crews will be at home to friends, 2624 Highland after November 1, 1914.
